Heather is a wonderful teacher whose enthusiasm and energy makes every practice a fun, unique and rewarding experience. The atmosphere in her class is encouraging and supportive. She shares her deep spiritual focus in yoga practices and gives a new focus for doing postures with greater awareness.

Heather Lilleston is the closest thing to an Angel I have met so far in this life. Though she is far too humble to accept this praise I mean it with all sincerity. From the opening moments of my first class with her I knew I had found the teacher I had been searching for all along. I began a journey that day which continues to reveal itself in wondrous and magical ways. The best part about Heather is that she herself is bravely bounding down the path of self-discovery and is always more than happy to hold out her hand and help her students come along with her. On most days I leave her class feeling like I am empowered with the ability to make the world a better place....I trust Heather with my practice and am grateful and proud to call her my teacher. Two days ago I flew back to N.Y. from LA just so I could take Heather's class.......What more can I say? Heather Lilleston is the real deal!!

Heather puts all of her heart into teaching vinyasa that is not only challenging and joyful, but also completely inspired.  She constructs classes that are creatively sequenced, flowing, and physical and guides her students' practices past their own expectations with spirit, supportive assists and uplifting music.  Heather's dedication to yoga and its underlying philosophies is such a gift to students--through her deep understanding of and engagement with yogic and Buddhist texts and her natural ability to communicate their messages in an instantly available and applicable way, students are able to find light in their lives.

Heather's classes are very inspiring. She starts with a spiritual message that stays with you after class. I wanted 2 friends new to yoga to have a private with Heather because I knew she would present yoga in such a way that they would continue excited not fearful. Heather also has advanced students wanting more.

In one of my first classes with heather i found myself in a sweaty bliss, deep in ankle to knee pose...or at least i thought i was deep in it.  heather approached me, gently moving my ankle properly over my knee and with the softest of voices said, 'because i know you can'.  from then on i knew i could and there was no going back...or is it her inspiring dharma talks that are woven like silk into the sequences...

After seven years of taking yoga classes for exercise, the day I first took Heather's class felt like the first time I had ever discovered yoga. I found myself growing in mind, body and soul. Her classes are physically challenging, yet light-hearted and fun, and her spiritual talks are an accessible balance of ancient wisdom and modern predicaments. Above all, Heather's love and passion for teaching yoga helps you to believe in yourself, that you can achieve that impossible pose one day, and that feeling has translated into the way I live and love.

Juggling motherhood, career, marriage, friends, dogs, and general adult responsibilities, it's rare that I'm able to carve out 1.5 - 2 hours for a yoga class.  However, as much as I can, I'll modify my schedule to squeeze in a class with Heather because I find it so worthwhile.  Her classes are physically challenging, spiritually nourishing, and intellectually thought-provoking.  After her classes, my body is left feeling respectfully exhausted and my mind is engaged in new questions and ideas to mull over.  Whenever I want to treat myself to something, Heather's classes are my treat of choice.

Heather is the best, most joyful and exhilarating Vinyasa teacher I have ever had.  And her chanting and harmonium are not bad either.

Heather combines highly specific instruction, relevant to the individual student, with the radiance of youth. Having found her place as a practitioner, student, then teacher of yoga at a very young age, she has accrued an unusually mature knowledge of the Asanas, breathing and alignment, and the philosophy of Yoga.  Heather has taught me to honor my mind, my body, my teachers, and my place by the example of her own innate integrity, joyful energy, and generosity of spirit.

I always leave Heather's classes feeling lighter and brighter. Her spirit is infectious. Her sequences are creative and purposeful. And her playfulness creates space for humility, exploration and realization. She's a true practitioner. And whether or not you're aware, she brings all eight limbs to class.

Heather is far and away one of the best yoga teachers I've ever had -- and I've taken from more than a hundred yoga instructors in my life. Her sweet, playful, and compassionate nature shines through in every moment of class. I love how hands-on she is. Through her soothing chanting, melodious singing, and meditation, thought-provoking lectures, invigorating and original sequencing, and challenging yet supportive guidance -- I always leave her class uplifted and inspired.

Heather's class is Amazing! Inspiring, fun, fast, and full of life. Energizing thoughtfully sequenced vinyassa and perfect meditations will total transform you. It's like taking yoga with your best friend.  Highly recommend! Leave work early, do not miss this class!!!!!

Heather Lilleston is an inspiration in all aspects of mind, body and spirit. Her yoga flow takes you to places you never thought possible. Taking her class is better than a trip to a candy store, massage or any other self indulgence. Her classes are like an addiction where one keeps coming back for more.

You know when you're around someone who loves what they do so much that their passion for it is inspiring, this is Heather Lilleston, it is because of her that I practice every day, it is because of her teachings that my heart has opened, she uplifts me and gets me completely blissed out every time! It's like going to a performance of the soul and spirit, a dance in between time and memory, a journey inward...and I'm in the best shape of my life.

You walk in to a class with Heather on any given day - even if you're having a 'blah' day - and you're guaranteed to walk out feeling lighter and transformed.Heather's classes feel like west coast sunshine and ocean air on a yoga mat.

Heather's quirky, vivacious, eclectic teaching style has us missing her weekly since our move to LA. She challenged me to go further into my postures and even in the most advanced of poses, would bring a smile to my face with her sense of humour. Each of her classes seemed to be well planned out, care taken to provide not only a beautiful class, but a wonderful experience. Come to L.A. for guest teachings!!

-Nicole Means

Heather’s classes are both challenging and fun, and are infused with her humor and passion for yoga in all its forms.  I always end up exploring something new in her class and smiling in the process.  My advice is to go!

Heather is a beautiful yoga teacher. Her classes will challenge you physically, but mostly she'll make you aware that the mind is both the problem and the solution. In class, we're taught that you can gain control in places you didn't even realize you were lacking it. She's funny, charming and compassionate.  More often than not, Heather's Saturday morning class is the highlight of my week.
